Robert Franklin has been appointed as interim director of Sales and Marketing, Americas, at Terex Trucks. In his new position, Franklin will be responsible for managing the company’s sales and marketing team.
Franklin has more than 25 years’ experience in the construction equipment industry, which has included two stints at dealerships in sales positions. He later served as a regional sales manager for Terex in the western portions of the U.S. and Canada, then held a similar position at Volvo Construction Equipment after it acquired the Terex Trucks business.
In his new role, Franklin will be responsible for executing Terex Trucks’ marketing strategy to grow the business and implement disciplines to drive interaction between dealers and customers.
Franklin will be based in California and will report to Paul Douglas, director and general manager of Terex Trucks.
