More Speakers At Diesel Progress Summit

More high-level speakers from companies including Deutz, Hatz, Volvo CE and Kohler have been confirmed for the first Diesel Progress Summit which will be held in Louisville, Ken., on Sept. 30.

The conference, held the day before the ICUEE show, will address new developments in powertrains, including diesel engines, electrification and hybrid systems and is targeted at equipment manufacturers, component suppliers and fleet owners.

The new speakers are:

Ray Gallant, vice president, Sales Support – Americas for Volvo CE, who will discuss developments in powertrains for construction equipment

Dr. Markus Müller, senior vice president – Product Development& Technical Customer Support at Deutz AG, whose talk will focus on electrification and hybrid powertrains

Brian Melka, president of Kohler Engines, will join Bernd Krüper, CEO, Motorenfabrick Hatz and Julie Furber, executive director of Cummins’ electrification business, on the roundtable panel on electrification and hybrid power systems.

Other speakers already confirmed include:

Keynote: Ramin Younessi, group president, Construction Industries at Caterpillar.

Keynote: Jennifer Rumsey, vice president and chief technical officer at Cummins.

Guru Bandekar, vice president, Global Engineering at JLG Industries.

Alex Woodrow, managing director at Knibb, Gormezano and Partners.

Simon Nielsen, senior systems engineer, Danfoss Power Solutions.
