Oshkosh Truck Corp. has signed a up to $110.1 million contract with Armor Holdings Inc. which will supply armor for U.S. Marine Corps vehicles as part of the Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR) program.
Work on the contract will be done at Armor’s aerospace and defense group facilities in Ohio. Armor will also continue to subcontract with its Israeli-based partner, Plasan Sasa, for production of the additional armor kits.
Robert Schiller, Armor’s president, said the order will build additional backlog for 2006.
Jacksonville-based Armor Holdings manufactures and distributes security products and vehicle armor systems for the military, law enforcement and commercial markets.
