Omega Engineering, the Norwalk, Conn.-based maker of process measurement and control products, has named Joe Vorih as president.
Vorih’s priority will be to transform Omega into what the company describes as a web-based global partner for complete process measurement and control solutions, including innovative wireless and industrial internet of things (IIoT)-ready offerings.
Vorih served as president of Clarcor Engine Mobile Solutions and as senior vice president and chief commercial officer at Stanadyne. He started his career with Danaher Corp., eventually serving in a variety of leadership roles in Danaher Motion—a diverse industrial automation and motion control business. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from MIT and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
