Officially International Exhibition for Construction and Infrastructure, Intermat has lost some of its luster, but in 2018 will be Europe’s only big off-highway machinery Organizers claim the previous run of Intermat drew 183,000 visitors and 1500 exhibitors.
The exhibition is organized in four clusters: earthmoving and demolitions\;, building and concrete industry; roads, minerals and foundations; and lifting, handling and transportation.
Intermat has always been held at a key time in the diesel emissions timeline, and 2018 will be no exception. With the E.U. launching Stage 5 regulations in 2019, it can be expected that Intermat will be one of the first exhibitions to show the new engines and possibly machines for this latest milestone in emissions regulations.
